LCC Church Work Day- June 6th from 8:00am - 3:00pm
Join other LCC men and women as we spend some time together taking care of our LCC campus. We have several projects including painting, yard care, landscaping, cleaning, and other miscellaneous tasks. There is something for everyone! Bring your work gloves and plan for a fun day of work and fellowship! No childcare will be provided for this event. Kids are welcome to attend with a parent, but we ask that your child stay with you during the work day. Sign up on the Church Center App to help!
Promotion Sunday- June 7th
Promotion Sunday for the children at LCC is June 7th. On this day, each grade level will transition to their upcoming school year's class. We are excited for our incoming kindergartens, 6th graders, and 9th graders as they transition to their new groups.
LCC Ladies Summer Supper Club
We know that summer can be such a crazy time for people and that it is easy to feel disconnected with church activities pausing for the summer. Cue Summer Supper Club! This is a great opportunity to connect with other women, find new friendships and enjoy intentional fellowship. Pick a date or two that works for your schedule and your hostess(es) will reach out to you with more details. Sign up on the Church Center App!
LCC Children's Ministry Summer Activities
It's time to hit the trails! We want to see you this summer and stay connected. Please grab a copy of our summer calendar from the Kid’s Welcome desk. Each Wednesday of June and July we have a simple event that you are invited to. No need to RSVP...just show up! Each week is at a different location so pick the ones that work for your family!
LCC Night of Prayer- Wednesday, June 10th, from 6:00pm-7:30pm
Join us for an evening of prayer with various prompts to guide us through different focus areas. This is family-friendly, and youth and elementary kids are invited to join! There will be childcare for kids 3 and under.
LCC Golf - June 11th at 6PM & June 27th at 8AM
LCC Golf is a fun opportunity to play a round of golf with a few others through the church family at LCC. Your skill level does not matter, simply a desire to swing a club and enjoy fellowship at the same time! Register for one OR both of the opportunities in June to play!
Children’s Dedication at LCC on Father’s Day- June 21st
A child dedication is a special moment for parents to publicly commit their child to the Lord and to commit before others their intent to guide them towards a personal relationship with Him. It is also a meaningful time for your LCC family to promise to stand with you in prayer and encouragement as your child grows in faith. Text Haley at (903) 445-0850 if you want to participate.
LCC Youth Prayers
Please pray for our upcoming youth trips to Arkansas (July 6th-10th) and Colorado (July 11th-17th)! Pray that students would be engaged and ready to hear what God has for them over these weeks of worship, teaching, and discussion. Also pray for trip safety and our leaders attending.
LCC VBS- July 12th-15th from 6:00pm-8:00pm
At Rainforest Falls, kids explore the nature of God—discovering who God is and how much he loves them! Rainforest Falls is for kids going into K-5th grade and will run from 6:00pm-8:00pm each day. Want to volunteer? Register as a volunteer on the Church Center App, and let us know where you'd like to serve. Volunteers are able to register their nursery and preschoolers too!
New Children's Ministry Procedures
As you arrive at church each Sunday morning, please check in your children at a Check-In Station. Once checked into their class please place the printed name tag on your child. That communicates to every adult in the children's building that they are under our care. As the kiddos leave their classes, we will take off their name tags as a way to communicate that they have been given back over to the parents. It is a visible way for our LCC Children's ministry volunteers to monitor children in the hallways when things get crowded.
Video Production Team Volunteers Needed!
We’re looking for a few people to help produce our Sunday livestream. This is an awesome way to serve—helping share God’s Word beyond our walls and making worship accessible to those who can’t be in the room. No experience is needed; we’ll provide all the training you need.
